Long-sleeved tees are perfect for layering and will keep you warm. Blacks, grays, and creams are good colors to start with and can be layered under some of your more versatile warm-weather clothes if needed.
A pullover can be a lifesaver when your late for something and have to run out the door. Choose close-knit styles for a tailored look or bulkier knits when you just want to cozy up!
There are many styles, heights, and colors when it comes to boots, but the more the marrier am I right? Choose a pair or two of favorites like ankle, knee-high, or mid-calf boots and switch things up.
Leggings come in a huge variety of patterns and colors, which means you can wear them all the time. You can live by my shopping rules; 1. you can never have too many pairs of leggings, and 2. buy another pair of leggings becuase you know you're going to wear them.
Another accessory worth stocking in many colors and styles is definitely the scarf! You can still wear scarves made of sheer fabrics during autumn, but can also start to introduce bulkier, warmer varieties.
Leather is all the rage this season, so whatever peice of leather you embrase into your wardrobe you will be on the right track.
A boot sock is a cozy little band, often knit, that rests around your leg, just inside the top of your boot and peeps over the top. This gives the illusion that you are wearing a long sock, but you don’t have to deal with all the bulk in your boots. But if you do like the full sock stick to whatever you like best!
Flannels are also an essential in layering when it comes to fall. Their ability to be fun and flirty gives your outfit more of a flare then a basic would.
Neutral colors like navy, cream, and black are great vest colors that can help you stay warm but all add a pop of style. Make sure to keep the vest size small so it doesn't add any additional unwanted bulk.
Once you have all your essentials in your closet it’s time to add some bling! bronze, gold, brushed metallics, help your fall colors pop!
