Make It A November To Remember
Posted on October 27 2016
Hold on, wait a minute...
I feel like just yesterday I was celebrating the arrival of September, and then excited about pumpkins once October came and now we're shifting our way into November? We're getting dangerously close to the holidays, maybe I should start preparing.... Anyway! November, along with the arrival of many beloved holidays, reminds us the importance of giving, and we want to show our customers just how much we appreciate them! So keep on reading to find out what we've got up our sleeves here at KKB.
Before we get into that, I want to share with you all my favorite things about November! It's very important to stop and smell the roses (or stop and step on that crunchy leaf), and trust me on my most stressful days it really helps. So as we're all chugging along, wrapping up the last few months of the year, here are some fun things to look forward to!
1. Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade
Maybe this is me getting a little ahead of myself but I must say, watching giant balloon characters float through Manhattan is the first thing on my mind Thanksgiving morning. This year also happens to be the 90th anniversary, so I'm sure we'll be seeing some cool stuff!
And while we're on the topic of anniversaries, keep your eye out for our 5th Anniversary event at KKB! Mark your calendars, November 5th!
2. Crock Pots
This may not be exclusive to November but for whatever reason, I've always felt like this time of the year was extremely appropriate to break out the crock pot and make some delicious, warm meals! My best friends chili recipe is by far, my favorite. Cuddling up with a bowl of chili and watching Disney movies, give it a try and tell me you didn't love it. 3. Black Friday
It is quite literally impossible for me to overlook the joy Black Friday (and Cyber Monday) brings to me. Yes, my bank account suffers a little. Yes, it's a little stressful. But seriously, always worth it. My closet is my holy grail, so when I'm having a rough day or I just can't find anything to wear - I think about the amazing sales I'm going to hit very soon!
